Najm DAARAOUI, a passionate electrician, practices his trade with rigor. More than just a job, he turns his expertise into a legacy that he passes on to those around him. This pioneering spirit roots the DAARAOUI family in the field of electricity, laying the foundation for an evolution that, decades later, will lead to the creation of Sunlight Technology.
Under the leadership of Abderahim DAARAOUI, son of Najm, Seleda is born. The first company to introduce high-voltage electricity to Guelmim in 2000, Seleda accumulates technical and commercial successes, further strengthening the family’s reputation and expertise in electricity.
Raised from a young age with family electrification projects, Salma DAARAOUI decides to pursue engineering studies in Germany, specializing in renewable energy. Upon her return, she partners with Seleda to found Sunlight Technology, drawing on decades of family expertise while adopting a modern and forward-thinking approach.
Sunlight Technology initially focuses on solar pumping, meeting a crucial need in the Moroccan agricultural sector. Over 80 irrigation and water supply projects are quickly developed, providing a sustainable and reliable solution to the country's agricultural regions. Alongside these installations, Sunlight Technology expands its offering by developing a solar product sales business, addressing a wider range of energy needs.
Sunlight Technology merges with Seleda, combining decades of experience with solar innovation. This marks a strategic turning point with the expansion of our offerings to include self-consumption photovoltaic installations (rooftops, ground-mounted systems, solar canopies) and PPA contracts for industries.
Sunlight Technology takes a new strategic leap. In response to increasing demand for solar products, the company creates Allo Solaire, an entity entirely dedicated to selling solar solutions while refocusing on its core business: engineering, consulting, and project support.
